WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Loan Officer at our headquarters in Norwell, MA, you will be responsible for the origination of 1st and 2nd Residential Mortgages. Loan Officers are responsible for developing referral sources from the Realtor, Builder, Financial Planner and Legal community. They’re required to become familiar with radius’ loan products, application process, consumer disclosure requirements, POS Origination Software and the general business practices of the company. They are also expected to perform duties assigned from time to time by company management. Duties and responsibilities may change over time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Interview applicants generated through various channels. Analyze applicant data, work with borrower to prepare a complete application. Initiate processing and preliminary underwriting. Approve consumer loans up to established limits.
  • Serve as the liaison between all parties i.e. Brokers, borrowers, and radius, during the application process for mortgage loans. Prior to closings, act as liaison with attorneys to ensure documentation is accurate and consistent.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Regional Manager, Branch Manager, and all other radius loan producing personnel.
  • Develop marketing strategies to meet performance goals.
  • Maintain a general understanding of all mortgage products offered by radius and effectively present these products to customers.
  • Represent radius by participating in various community and industry related activities including but not limited to speaking at Mortgage Seminars, Mortgage Trade Fairs, etc. Promote radius products to potential customers when possible.
  • Develop retention programs for radius’ existing loan portfolio through CRM platform, personal contact, letters or other means.
  • Keep abreast of residential/consumer loan products and applicable State/Federal regulations and compliance issues. Comply fully with all federal, state and local laws and regulations, policies and procedures, including but not limited to the S.A.F.E. Act and its registration, renewal and updating requirements.
  • Assist with special assignments/projects, and in the development of new products/services to meet competition.

WHAT’LL MAKE YOU SPECIAL:

  • 3 or more years of mortgage origination experience, or 2 years of mortgage origination experience and 1 or more years related lending experience.
  • Familiarity with counties surrounding desired branch office location.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the secondary market underwriting guidelines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

As a Processor/Loan Analysts at our headquarters in Norwell, MA, you will impact radius by processing our mortgage loan files. Our Loan Processors are incredibly organized, computer-savvy, task-driven individuals. They need to be comfortable working individually and in a team setting as they spend a lot of time working with the underwriter, borrower and sales team. Residential mortgage loan files are processed from the initial loan setup through closing/post-closing functions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintain a pipeline of loans with efficiency.
  • Obtain and review loan documentation and submit complete packages to Underwriting for approval.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Distribute and exchange information with internal and external team members including loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builders and agents.
  • Verify that Underwriting conditions are received and cleared by the Underwriter and prepare the file for submission to the Closing Department.
  • Follow up with customers and compose correspondence/ memorandums.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Comply with all company and mortgage industry policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
  • Comply with all local, state and federal regulations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

A Consumer Direct Loan Originator Assistant provides dedicated support to assigned consumer direct partners to assist in such loan origination of first and second residential mortgages on behalf of Company. You impact radius by providing assisting consumer direct partner in working loan files and by providing timely and clear communications, information, and responses to our borrowers, and also by self-generating loan volume.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Primary contact for consumer direct partners with quoting rates, product education and placement.
  • Primary contact with Borrowers to complete a quality mortgage application, collect required documents needed to submit initial loan file and communication throughout loan process to ensure excellent customer service
  • Issue prequalification’s and preapprovals to consumers
  • Access Borrower’s credit and review for product placement per investor guidelines
  • Provide price quotes and rate lock support.
  • Transfer skinny/initial mortgage applications for submittal to partnering Loan Originator Assistant
  • Employment of Company mortgage and communication technologies to make mortgages better
  • Utilize Company marketing tools to establish an ongoing referral network from consumer direct leads and parties assigned to the transaction
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws
  • Be familiar with the company loan products, application process, consumer disclosure requirements, compliance requirements, POS origination software, and the general practices of Company.
  • Participate in corporate recommended and mandated training.
  • Perform various clerical tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
