WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Loan Officer at our headquarters in Norwell, MA, you will be responsible for the origination of 1st and 2nd Residential Mortgages. Loan Officers are responsible for developing referral sources from the Realtor, Builder, Financial Planner and Legal community. They’re required to become familiar with radius’ loan products, application process, consumer disclosure requirements, POS Origination Software and the general business practices of the company. They are also expected to perform duties assigned from time to time by company management. Duties and responsibilities may change over time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Interview applicants generated through various channels. Analyze applicant data, work with borrower to prepare a complete application. Initiate processing and preliminary underwriting. Approve consumer loans up to established limits.
  • Serve as the liaison between all parties i.e. Brokers, borrowers, and radius, during the application process for mortgage loans. Prior to closings, act as liaison with attorneys to ensure documentation is accurate and consistent.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Regional Manager, Branch Manager, and all other radius loan producing personnel.
  • Develop marketing strategies to meet performance goals.
  • Maintain a general understanding of all mortgage products offered by radius and effectively present these products to customers.
  • Represent radius by participating in various community and industry related activities including but not limited to speaking at Mortgage Seminars, Mortgage Trade Fairs, etc. Promote radius products to potential customers when possible.
  • Develop retention programs for radius’ existing loan portfolio through CRM platform, personal contact, letters or other means.
  • Keep abreast of residential/consumer loan products and applicable State/Federal regulations and compliance issues. Comply fully with all federal, state and local laws and regulations, policies and procedures, including but not limited to the S.A.F.E. Act and its registration, renewal and updating requirements.
  • Assist with special assignments/projects, and in the development of new products/services to meet competition.

WHAT’LL MAKE YOU SPECIAL:

  • 3 or more years of mortgage origination experience, or 2 years of mortgage origination experience and 1 or more years related lending experience.
  • Familiarity with counties surrounding desired branch office location.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the secondary market underwriting guidelines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

As an Accounting Assistant at our headquarters in Norwell, MA, you will a strong communicator with the ability to understand and respond to our company’s needs in a rapidly changing business environment. This requires a tactful and diplomatic thinking style, problem solving and attention to detail. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with the Corporate Controller on various projects analyzing and reporting financial data.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the Finance department
  • Check, verify and process invoices
  • Prepare payments for signature
  • Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
  • Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
  • Enter key data of financial transactions in General Ledger
  • Research inquiries and/or discrepancies within the G/L

WHAT’LL MAKE YOU SPECIAL:

  • Degree in Accounting or related experience
  • Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable coordinator or Accounts payable coordinator
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
